We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimating or related roles. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced remote environment.
Key qualifications:
2+ years of experience in construction estimating or related roles (preferred).
Proficient written and spoken English with strong grammar and communication skills (C1/C2 level preferred).
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience in administrative support or construction-related roles is an asset.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with estimating software or databases is a plus.
Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail abilities; ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Experience with Microsoft 365 and remote-work tools; capable of operating in a home-office environment with reliable internet.
Technical readiness: compatible hardware and sufficient internet connectivity to support remote collaboration.

Support the estimating team by gathering, organizing, and managing project documentation, drawings, and specifications.
Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, cost databases, and variance analyses to support preliminary and detailed estimates.
Process incoming communications and follow up on requests related to estimating projects, ensuring timely responses.
Collect and compile data on materials, labor, equipment costs, and subcontractor pricing for inclusion in estimates.
Assist with quantity takeoffs, measurements, and basic cost modeling under the guidance of senior estimators.
Accurately input project data into estimating software and spreadsheets; maintain data integrity and version control.
Review plans and documents to support creation of preliminary cost assessments and cost breakdowns by trade and category.
Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations for management or client review, including clear summaries of assumptions and contingencies.
Maintain organized records of estimates, quotes, proposals, and supporting documentation; ensure files are current and accessible.
Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and data quality through proactive communication and documentation.
Requisitos
